Does New Mom Charlize Theron "Trust" Kristen Stewart to Babysit?

Does New Mom Charlize Theron "Trust" Kristen Stewart to Babysit?

Move over, Robert Pattinson—Charlize Theron is taking your place!

No, Kristen Stewart is not replacing her real-life Twilight boyfriend with her Snow White and the Huntsman costar, but…

K. Stew, 22, really digs Ms. Theron, 36.

"I want to stand on my tippy toes when I'm around her," Stewart told me the other day when she and SWATH costar Sam Claflin appeared at the MTV Sneak Peek of their new fairy-tale action flick. "She's mad intimidating. Most people would make you feel really bad about yourself when you're intimidated by them, but I feel so great around."

Claflin gushed, "She makes you step up your game."

Theron is also, well, super cool.

"She's awesome," Stewart said. "And she's hilarious—she's so fast and quick."

Even with all this lovin', Stewart and Claflin aren't going to be babysitting for the new mom anytime soon.

"I don't think she should trust either of us," Stewart said.

Claflin cracked, "I don't think she'd trust us with the kid or even her dogs."

New Kristen Interview with Irish Times

New Kristen Interview with Irish Times

JUST DON’T SAY anything bad about Kristen Stewart. Seriously. The first time I met Ms Stewart she was 17 years old. She had just finished shooting Twilight and was intimidated, even before the film’s release, by the burgeoning popularity of Stephenie Meyer’s vampire saga.

“I’m, like, Little Miss Indie film,” she told me. “I really wanted to work with Catherine Hardwicke, the director. And I presumed Twilight was just another off-centre, cool little film for a very devoted, quite exclusive fan base.”

The Twi-hard fanbase soon set her straight, but she was taking it well: “Girls, especially at a certain age, can be bullies. But I understand why. I understand their covetousness. Edward is such an icon. All I can say is ‘sorry’ to anyone who thinks I’m not Bella Swan. Really. I’m sorry for stealing Edward. I completely relate to that. But I love the book just as much as they do and share their protective urges toward it.”

Back then, she was not yet a star, but she was already an accomplished actor. She had impressed critics with what ought to have been a mere wisp of a part in Sean Penn’s Into the Wild and had stolen scenes from right under Jodie Foster’s nose in David Fincher’s The Panic Room.

Wearing jeans and a hoodie, she curled up into a little ball beside me, tucking her Converse sneakers under herself. She was whip smart, singular and terrifically, endearingly awkward. I developed a weird maternal, or possibly materteral instinct for the teenager right then and there.

K-Stew Wants Hunger Games To Win Best Kiss!

K-Stew Wants Hunger Games To Win Best Kiss!

The 2012 MTV Movie Awards are fast approaching, and excitement has began to build over who will be awarded one of the most coveted gongs of the night…the Best Kiss Golden Popcorn.

Ever since Twilight burst onto our movie screens, it has dominated the category, leaving co-stars and real-life lovers Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart left with the awkward decision of whether to recreate their smooch on the Movie Awards stage.

With there being some tough competition this year from the likes of Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson's snog in The Hunger Games, we caught up with K-Stew to find out whether she thinks herself and R-Pattz will be crowned Best Kiss this time around.

When asked if she had any fighting talk for Jennifer and Josh, Kristen told MTV.co.uk: "I don’t know. For the last few years it was ‘The Twilight Show’ and it was bizarre and this year’s gonna be fun. It’s gonna be like ‘Oh good, something different! Please God, something different’.

"I would love to see them go up there and I would love to see how someone else dealt with it to be honest. It’s like ‘are you gonna do it?’, ‘are you gonna give it to them’."

She added: "If we didn’t win, I would actually be stoked to see like how it all goes down and how they handle it."

Kristen - who is currently starring in Snow White And The Huntsman - went on to add that she's not nervous about presenting an award at the prestigious ceremony, stating: "I feel very comfy there, like I’ve lived there for years.

"The first year, it was very different from how I feel now and I’m really stoked to come as Snow White… It’s going to be fun this year."

Robert Pattinson's Next Movie: A Modern-Day 'Bonnie And Clyde'?

Robert Pattinson's Next Movie: A Modern-Day 'Bonnie And Clyde'?

'Twilight' producer says Pattinson would be 'fantastic' in the big-screen adaptation of 'The Professionals.'

When it comes to knowing the comings and goings of Robert Pattinson, we'd like to consider ourselves experts, or very much in the know with regard to what movies we can expect to see the "Twilight" superstar make next.

We know about his roles in "Bel Ami," "Cosmopolis" and, of course, "Breaking Dawn - Part 2", but what do you think of Pattinson tackling a modern-day thriller à la "Bonnie and Clyde"?

When MTV News caught up with "Twilight" producer Wyck Godfrey recently to discuss Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's chances of another Best Kiss win at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday (June 3), he revealed that he and Pattinson might be cooking up some post-"Breaking Dawn - Part 2" work plans, in the form of a big-screen adaptation of a crime thriller.

"There's a book called "The Professionals," which is a new crime thriller that Rob has read and really likes," Godfrey said of Owen Laukkanen's well-received debut novel. "We're just starting to look at a writer [to adapt it]. It's kind of a 'Bonnie and Clyde' for today, and he would be fantastic in the role. It's in the early days; we'll see."

A modern-day version of "Bonnie and Clyde" sounds gritty and violent no matter which way you look at it. We asked Godfrey if he sees this potential big-screen crime thriller as a PG-13- or R-rated film for Pattinson.

"Possibly R," he said. "[Rob's] an adult now."
