Kristen Stewart Says She's Grungier Than Everyone Thinks
Kristen Stewart gets a lot of flack for her appearance, sometimes for things she can't control (that jet-black mullet, for one). But the Twilight star says that in her private time, she's even more low-key than her public persona. In an interview in this month's Elle, Stewart joked, "People think I'm grungy now—and I know that I'm being photographed!"
Which isn't to say Stewart does not appreciate fashion. The actress said, "I'm fine when I'm chilling with my hair and makeup crew—I like choosing what to wear."
Even when she has full control over her ensembles, Stewart still has trouble with the red carpet hullabaloo that comes with the Twilight territory. "People say that I'm miserable all the time. It's not that I'm miserable, it's just that somebody's yelling at me," she insisted. "I literally, sometimes, have to keep myself from crying. It's a physical reaction to the energy that's thrown at you."
