Did you always want to cast Jackson ?
Before we got Jackson, my son was really good friends with David Henrie, the kid from ''Wizards of Waverly Place''. It was a huge hit when we were in production and he begged to be a part of ["Aim High"], but he was under an existing contract. McG was always a fan of Jackson Rathbone, and he jumped in while doing ''Twilight''.
How would you describe Jackson’s character ?
The job he’s taken is not what he signed up for. He’s super good at it but wants to be a regular kid. He wants to date the hot girl.
How long do you think you can keep it going ? Won’t Jackson get too old to play a kid in high school ?
He’s getting to that point now for sure. We really had conversations about the second season – is he in high school anymore or is he off in Jakarta on a mission ? You can go anywhere with it. The next season, god willing, maybe we’ll highlight another character or Jackson hands it off.
Who determines if there is another season ?
We’ve talked to Crackle about a third. That could be cool. A small group of us determine a third one, but ultimately it’s the fans. We have to give them what they want.

WHAT: Fans around the world now have the chance to personally ask Jackson about his role in Warner Premiere’s acclaimed web series “Aim High.”
With Season 2 starting in 2013 and the launch of “Warner Bros. Beyond the Lot,” which gives US and international fans uninterrupted access to the series, fans will have a lot to talk about during the hour-long exclusive chat hosted by the popular YouTube channel “What’s Trending.”
“Aim High,” produced by McG (“Chuck,” “Supernatural), follows the life of Nick Green (Rathbone), a seemingly typical high school senior who swoons over classmate Amanda Miles (Aimee Teegarden) serves as one of the country’s 64 highly trained teenage operatives.

Aim High: Season One is an original 2011 action-comedy web series centered around a high school student who leads a double life as a teenage spy.
Executive produced by producer/director McG (This Means War), Aim High stars Twilight‘s Jackson Rathbone as Nick Green, a 16-year-old undercover CIA agent who fights terrorists in-between homework and dates with his crush Amanda (Aimee Teegarden, TV’s Friday Night Lights), the most popular girl in high school.
The six webisodes of Aim High: Season One, which each have running times ranging from six minutes to twelve minutes, were originally released to an enthusiastic reception on Facebook and Cambio in October, 2011.

Bevy of thesps ready to 'Aim High'
Thesps join cast of Warner Bros.' second season of the online series
Aimee Teegarden, Greg Germann, Geoff Stults, Devon Bostick, Beverly D'Angelo, Tony Cavalero, Chris Wylde and Alan Dale join the cast of Warner Bros.' second season of the online series "Aim High," starring Jackson Rathbone, with Ari Sandel directing.
"Aim High" was launched last October as the first of Warner's Web shows on Facebook, where an individual's photos and friends can be integrated into scenes.
Rathbone has starred in both seasons as Nick Green, who serves as one of 64 highly trained teenage government operatives while attending high school. Sandel, who won an Oscar for his live-action short film "West Bank Story," is directing from a script by Daniel Mackey.
