Robert Pattinson talks 2010 FIFA World Cup USA vs England match
June 13, 2010 -- Robert Pattinson talked up the match yesterday between the USA and England during the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
The Twilight Eclipse hunk admitted to Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson Saturday during a press junket that he was, indeed, following the action as best he could.
At the time of their interview, an especially nail-biting experience was happening between the two teams, since -- as the British hunk put it -- they were 'drawing' -- which means the score at the time was equal at 1 to 1.
Pattinson said to Robinson, somewhat seriously but with a twinkle in his gorgeous eyes:
'And if at the end, if the end comes and they’ve won then that’s the end of the junket'.
So, we know where this expat stands on the subject of soccer, who admitted to being a big fan -- and then showed it, going off topic from the subject at hand -- his film, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
Robert Pattinson said to the room at large:
'Is it the end of the match yet? Have they already lost? I would be so depressed!'
No depression for RPatz at the end of the day, though, as that 'draw' came to fruition with no more points earned during the 2010 FIFA World Cup match between USA and England. So, Robert Pattinson can go on plugging his Twilight Eclipse film and he can also pull for his team at the same time -- the perfect match-up for a talented, multi-tasking, British lad.
