''Remember Me'' Review by Baler Newspaper
In “Remember Me” Tyler (actor Robert Pattinson) is a rebellious young man, living in New York City, who has gone through a great struggle in life. Having a stained relationship with his overworking father doesn’t help. Tyler believes that there is no other person in the world who can relate to him, until he meets Ally (Emilie de Ravin).
Ally truly understands what Tyler has been going through. She too has suffered a tragic event in her life, and it has changed the way she looks at life, dramatically. Her father who is a overprotective police officer, often treats her as a child even though it is 10 years after the tragedy.
Meeting Ally could possibly be the best thing that has happened in his life. Love was the last thing on his mind, but she brings him inspiration and this makes him fall for her. He begins to find a reason to be happy for once in his life. Eventually, secrets are revealed and the reason that brought them together slowly begins to tear them apart. “Remember Me” is a movie that brings out the importance of family, and living life to your fullest potential.
I thought that this movie was actually very good. At first I didn’t think I would enjoy watching it but I was pleasantly surprised while watching. I think that people should go watch this movie because it is interesting, has an element of surprise, and teaches a good moral.
