Rob and crew can welcome Maggie Grace and Mackenzie Foy on the Twilight train
One will play a vengeful vampire, the other will portray a kid who's betrothed to a werewolf. Maggie Grace and Mackenzie Foy are on board for the Twilight Saga's final chapter, People reports.
Grace will be familiar to Lost fanboys and girls; the 27-year-old played Shannon Rutherford during the sci-fi series' early seasons. She's scored the role of Irina in the upcoming Breaking Dawn — an embittered (but sexy!) vamp who sicks the Volturi on newlyweds Edward and Bella and their daughter, Renesmee.
As for Renesmee, she'll be played by nine-year-old newcomer Mackenzie Foy
Lucky for Foy, she'll get to sit out the birth scene.
As in the vampiric C-section birth scene that Twilight actor Kellan Lutz (who plays Emmett Cullen) has dropped a few details about to E! News.
"I think they should show it and have Emmett in the background laughing," Lutz joked to E!. But seriously guys, director Bill Condon has found a way to make a birthing scene involving spine-snapping and amniotic sac chewing tasteful.
"I love the way that they're showing it," Lutz told E!. "I really thought that was going to be really a tough thing to show."
Breaking Dawn will be split into two films, and though production on the project begins in November, People reports that Condon and screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg were working on rewrites earlier this month.
Rosenberg also told E! about what's in store for the scene where Edward Cullen helps deliver a baby (with his teeth). "I don't think it's about the amount of blood you show," she said. "It's about the intensity of it. It's on their faces.
"It's all from Bella's point of view when you're seeing what's going. It should feel visceral. I think it's going to be pretty intense."
