Help Get Distribution for Jackson Rathbone's Film "Girlfriend"

Girlfriend is about a young man with Down's Syndrome who romantically pursues a small town single mom. It recently premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and garnered audience and critical acclaim. This groundbreaking film was directed by talented first timer Justin Lerner and stars Amanda Plummer (Pulp Fiction), Shannon Woodward ("Raising Hope"), Jackson Rathbone (The Twilight Saga, Last Airbender), and newcomer Evan Sneider, who delivers an unforgettable powerful performance.

We want to deliver Girlfriend to you as soon as possible. Our goal is to get it out in as many theatres as we can, put it out on DVD, allow you to stream it online and order it On Demand.

We have partnered with a distributor to help facilitate our distribution strategy so we can reach our goals. All we need are the financial means to pull the trigger so we can make it happen.

Our goal is to raise 100k to promote and release the film theatrically, get into more festivals, print and sell DVD’s and build a website to stream the film online.

Anything we raise beyond that will be used to bring the film to more cities.

*Once Girlfriend is released a percentage of the profits will be donated to the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS).
