Kristen Stewart in talks to be 'Snow White'
Is Kristen Stewart trading in vampires and werewolves for dwarves?
According to Reuters, the "Twilight" star is on the list of possible "Snow White" portrayers in Universal's live-action "Snow White and the Huntsman." Viggo Mortensen is reportedly in talks to play the aforementioned Huntsman and Charlize Theron has been rumored to be negotiating the Evil Queen role.
This retelling of the Grimm brothers fairy tale imagines the Huntsman as Snow White's protector and mentor. Despite still shooting the "Breaking Dawn" movies (the final "Twilight" book is being split up into two films), the "Snow White" team is reportedly seeking Stewart pretty hard for when she's finished.
We don't think the "Twilight" movies have been the best showcase of Stewart's talents and would welcome a chance to see her trying something big and different like "Snow White," since other than "Twilight" she's mostly been seen in indie films.
