Robert Pattinson and 'Twilight' Snubbed at 2011 Kids Choice Awards

Robert Pattinson and 'Twilight' Snubbed at 2011 Kids Choice Awards

Robert Pattinson and the saga that made him famous have been snubbed at the 2011 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. Have you checked out the nominees for Saturday night's KCA's? There is definitely something wrong with this picture.

Not only was "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" not nominated for "Favorite Movie," but Robert Pattinson and his co-star Taylor Lautner were snubbed for "Favorite Movie Actor." Can you believe it?

This is an awards show where kids pick their favorites, right? Because not only are Rob and Taylor two of the hottest young stars in Hollywood, but "Twilight" and it's sequels have generated millions of dollars from it's young fans. It seems crazy not to include them with a nomination. Not to mention, "Eclipse" was the best film of the saga to date.

Snubbing "Twilight" is like snubbing Justin Bieber. (Which they didn't) Fans are sure to be angry over the awards show diss. Some of them tune in just to see the Twi-cast. Thankfully, not all things "Twilight" were forgotten by Nickelodeon.

Kristen Stewart is up for "Favorite Movie Actress." She is also nominated twice for "Favorite Movie Kiss," scoring a nod for smooching both of her gorgeous leading men, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. This should give Twi-hards plenty of opportunity to vote. But it still seems like Nickelodeon may have been getting a bit tired of seeing "Twilight" take home so many awards. At least this year there will be some variety.
