Leslie-Ann Huff Talks About Working With Jackson On "Cowgirls N Angels"
Former Disney star Leslie-Anne Huff's career is galloping to new heights. After guest-starring in two top-rated shows -- "NCIS" and "Bones" -- she is headed for the big screen playing a rodeo trick-rider in "Cowgirls 'N Angels", to be released in 2012.
In it she co-stars with veteran actor James Cromwell and Twilight's Jackson Rathbone. Before transitioning to prime time TV and film, Huff appeared on Disney and and (Disney-owned) ABC Family teen shows like "Sonny with A Chance", "Greek", and "10 Things I Hate About You". Having a taste of success has whet her appetite for more.
YC: You're playing a rodeo trick rider in Cowgirls 'N Angels. Was it fun training for that role? And you worked with Twilight's Jackson Rathbone, right?
LH: Yes, it was awesome. I fell in love with horseback riding. And yes, I worked with Jackson in the movie. He's a lovely guy. He's fawned over by women worldwide, yet he is surprisingly self-deprecating, extremely sweet, really funny, completely approachable. He's also a musician so he had his guitar with him to entertain us with. I couldn't say enough good things about him, he's such a nice guy.
