'Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn' Soundtrack News: Bruno Mars First Confirmed Artist
The rumors were true! Following a tweet from a Florida radio station last week announcing that cool crooner Bruno Mars would appear on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack comes confirmation from both the artist's official website and "The Twilight Saga" Facebook page.
"It Will Rain," a brand-new track from the 25-year-old, will be available worldwide on iTunes on September 27, with the full-length soundtrack dropping November 8.
Bruno's the first artist to be announced for the soundtrack. The "Just the Way You Are" singer is certainly an interesting addition to "The Twilight Saga" discography, considering music supervisor Alexandra Patsavas has historically favored under-the-radar indie artists and angsty rockers. Without knowing too much about the track, it's hard to surmise how it will feature in the film. But knowing Mr. Mars' penchant for sultry jams, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to theorize "It Will Rain" could be the backdrop to one of those hot honeymoon scenes. Perhaps as a waterfall rains upon Bella and Edward?
