Kristen Stewart On 'Tonight Show': Yep, She Punched Chris Hemsworth In The Face

We admit it: We've been missing Kristen Stewart lately. Filming commitments have kept the actress a bit absent from "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part I" premiere countdown media blitz, and it just hasn't been the same without her... or her signature interview style. But in addition to last night's MTV First: "Breaking Dawn - Part 1," the starlet came back in full force on "The Tonight Show," where she talked "Twilight," "Snow White" and the hazards she poses to Chris Hemsworth's pretty face.

Kristen has been looking a lot more grownup in her latest round of magazine appearances, and she was rocking a very polished colorblocked dress along with her long, long locks and sky-high heels. But you guys, some things never change; her endearing trademark awkwardness in TV interviews is still exactly the same. Right out of the gate, when asked what she's filming now, Kristen stammered: "I'm working on a muh-muh-muh"—and then turned a lovely shade of red.

No worries, ladyfriend; we all know you're filming "Snow White and the Huntsman"! And to prove it, Jay kindly threw out a new publicity shot: Kristen as Snow White, looking seriously fierce in her body armor.

When asked if this new, tougher Snow White is a killer, Kristen hemmed and hawed, "Uh... no... I can't really say. But I'm a very, very fierce—I'm protecting everyone." And, she added, "It's very cool to do an action movie where you couldn't be more compassionate; it's a good little paradox on the whole thing."

Kristen is clearly relishing the chance to play a different kind of role after so many years as Bella Swan. But as it turns out, there are certain things about Bella that... um, stick with you.

Which is to say, girl seems to have developed a permanent case of Klutz Syndrome.

She told Jay, "When they call action, it doesn't matter how many times they've said watch this, be careful with this, don't hit him in the face..."

Whoa, whoa, WHOOOOOA. Don't hit who in the face? Did co-star Chris Hemsworth get clocked on-set?

The answer: yes, yes he did. Kristen grew animated in describing the accident, which was supposed to be a fake punch but ended up being anything but: "It made such a sound! It literally spun him right around, I knocked him right out of his close-up. It'll definitely be in the movie."

Kristen also went on to talk about wearing fur ("Snow White would NEVER!") and how she feels about the soon-to-be-released "Breaking Dawn" movie ("It's a trip to watch them be so happy") before the final video rolled—a clip showing the moment when Bella realizes she's been knocked up, vampire style. But as far as we're concerned, the takeaway is this:

A) Go see "Snow White and the Huntsman" because
B) Chris Hemsworth gets punched in the face.
