Kristen Stewart In Elle: 'I Feel Boring'

What's going on with Kristen Stewart in the upcoming issue of Elle magazine? Well, to quote our favorite international man of mystery: She's a MAN, baby! The "Snow White and the Huntsman" star donned a suit, some suspenders and a seriously suave expression to play a dashing gentleman for her photo shoot with Tom Munro, which depicts the actress seducing... herself, dressed as a woman, thanks to some seriously ambitious photoshoppery. Which is quite an apt pose for a gal who just finished a film about the devastating effects of narcissism! And inside, Kristen antes up for an interview about her irritatingly un-difficult life, her drive to act and, of course, the rumors surrounding her romance with one Robert Pattinson.
It's no secret that KStew has been dating her "Twilight" co-star for awhile now, but time hasn't had any effect on the notoriously close-mouthed actress' willingness to dish about her love life. And when it comes to the latest hot topic, a gold ring that's purported to be from Rob, she'd only say, "Everyone wants to know. Everyone knows already—it’s ridiculous.”
But change the subject, and Kristen loosens up—particularly when it came to discussing her feelings about the relative ease of her life so far. And we mean loosens—girlfriend is dropping F-bombs all over the place!
"You can learn so much from bad things," she mused. "I feel boring. I feel like, Why is everything so easy for me? I can’t wait for something crazy to f---ing happen to me. Just life. I want someone to f--- me over! Do you know what I mean?"
...Uh, no? (Hate to break it to you, superstar, but getting f---ed over isn't actually as fun as it looks.) But whether Kristen gets what she's (weirdly) wishing for, it's clear that she sees acting as a way to delve into different and more difficult lives than her own.

"It’s one of the reasons I want to act," she said. "I love living in different worlds, because a lot of times mine is pretty nice and easy."
And after 10 years of making feature films, Kristen has a very distinct and nuanced idea of where the appeal lies in doing what she does, explaining, "Laurence Olivier was asked, ‘Actors, what’s the impulse? Why?’ And he was just like, ‘Look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me...’ That was his answer. But at the same time it’s like, ‘Nooo, don’t look at me. Look at some version that I’m going to present to you. Let me control it.’
To which we say... okay! Control away, lady. You're the one wielding the sword.
