''Breaking Dawn Part 2'' chosen as most anticipated fall movie by Fandango users
It looks like Kristen Stewart’s extracurricular activities and Robert Pattinson’s string of talk show appearances have increased fans’ appetite for Twilight. Voters chose Breaking Dawn — Part 2 as this season’s most anticipated movie on Fandango’s annual fall film survey. And a whopping 51 percent of voters also dubbed the flick as the best date night movie.
The musical Les Miserables, on the other hand, was chosen as the “Film that Could Sweep the Oscars,” while the comedy This is 40 was “The Movie Expected to Deliver the Biggest Laughs.” When it came to this season’s individual performances, fans chose Daniel Day-Lewis’ turn as Lincoln as the “Most Anticipated Performance of the Fall” and picked Joaquin Phoenix’s role in The Master as “The Most Welcome Return to the Screen.” Clint Eastwood also got some love (although it might not be the variety he sought) from Fandango users, who said his “empty chair” speech at the Republican National Convention made them more interested in his upcoming baseball flick “Trouble with the Curve.”
