Robert Pattinson Talks 'Breaking Dawn' Vampire Sex
It's the question that's been on every Twilighter's mind since the announcement that "Breaking Dawn" would definitely be brought to the big screen: What will Bella and Edward's honeymoon be like on film? The scene, which is one of the most powerful and mature moments in the "Twilight" series, has had fans wondering if the filmmakers behind "Breaking Dawn" would be able to do the scene justice while maintaining the franchise's PG-13 rating. Don't worry, "Twilight" fans, "Breaking Dawn" won't be drifting into R-rated territory—and Robert Pattinson says that's only made the love scene better.
"I think we had some really interesting ideas about [the love scene]," Rob said when we caught up with him at the "Water for Elephants" press junket. "It's kind of interesting, as well, having to do it in the context of PG-13."
Rob explained that while the restrictions that come with the teen-friendly rating put more blatant displays off-limits, he considers that a good thing. "That’s all been done in other stuff anyway," he said.
Though there's still a lot of work to be done before "Breaking Dawn" will be ready for theaters, Rob assured us that the story is in good hands with director Bill Condon at the helm.
"It’s kind of incredible," Rob said of what he's seen so far. "[Bill Condon] he has really, really good ideas for it."
